We are pleased to inform you that the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), Association of Stockbroking Houses of Nigeria (ASHON) and Association of Issuing Houses of Nigeria (AIHN) are collaborating to organise a one-day National Workshop on Demutualisation scheduled to take place Tuesday, July 12, 2011 by 8.00am at Shell Hall, Muson Centre Onikan, Lagos.
The Workshop is an avenue through which experts in the capital market would come together to deliberate and proffer pragmatic solutions on demutualisation. It is also an opportunity for key industry players in the financial sector to broaden their knowledge and discuss experiences of demutualised stock exchanges as well as the roles and expectations of stakeholders in the proposed demutualisation of the Nigerian stock exchange. The workshop will attract more than 300 leading members from within and outside the securities and investment community.
Participants will include stockbrokers, capital market regulators, bankers and other financial services experts, lawyers, accountants, top government officials, businessmen, media and members of other professional bodies.
The workshop fee per participant is N20,000 for Brokers and N30,000 for Non-brokers. Group discounts are available to any organization that send in 3 persons at N50,000 for Brokers and N80,000 for Non-brokers. This fee covers workshop materials, group lunch, tea/coffee and snacks. Cheque should be raised in favour of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.
